The process of finalising reservation will be carried out in accordance with the Supreme Court’s directions that seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) cannot be reserved in local self-government bodies till the State Government does not fulfil ‘triple test’ criteria for OBC reservation.

Already, Prabhag boundaries have been finalised for the 13 municipal corporations in the State including Nagpur, Amravati, and Akola in Vidarbha region.
