Nagpur: A peaceful demonstration was organised by Animal Rights Activists against High Court order that public feeding of stray dogs can be penalized, at Samvidhan Square here, Wednesday.
The activities claimed that the fundamental rights of animals are being impinged upon.
Around 100 activities and volunteers had gathered demanding the revocation of the verdict given by the Nagpur HC penalizing public feeding of stray dogs.
The activists also demanded revocation of permission given to the Nagpur city administration to activate section 44 of the Bombay Police Act 1951 to eliminate stray dogs.
