DCP Chetna Tidke given charge of Traffic Department
Nagpur: Two young Indian Police Service (IPS) officers — Anurag Jain and Shravan Dutt — took over as Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) in Nagpur city on Tuesday.
Jain, who was earlier Additional Superintendent of Police, Latur, took over DCP (Zone-I). Similarly, Duth assumed the charge of DCP (Zone-V). The orders to this effect were issued by Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar as per the recommendation of the Police Establishment Board.
DCP Chetna Tidke, who was DCP (Headquarters) and holding additional charge of Traffic Department, has been given permanent charge as DCP (Traffic). She would be holding additional charge of DCP (Headquarters) till further orders.
DCP Chinmoy Pandit, who was sent to Delhi on deputation, was relieved of charge on Tuesday. DCP Zone-2 Dr Sandeep Pakhale has been given additional charge of Crime Branch and Economic Offences Wing (EOW). After the arrival of other transferred officers, Dr Pakhale and Zone-3 DCP Gajanan Rajmane will be relieved as they also have been transferred to different postings.
