Nagpur : “Hirkani Chamber” was inaugurated at the Extended Legislative building at Nagpur on Tuesday to facilitate MLA Srimati Saroj Ahire who came here along with her toddler to take care of the child. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Health Minister Dr. Tanaji Swant, Education Minister Dipal Kesarkar, and others were prominently present on this occasion. The ‘Hirkani Chamber’ was inaugurated at the hands of MLA Srimati Saroj Ahire.
Such ‘Hirkani Chambers’ exist in offices for the serving mothers to take care of their toddlers and to breastfeed them. During the winter session of the assembly, this Hirkani Chamber was started in Room No. 106 in the extended Legislative Assembly building. It is managed by the Health Department and facilities like separate rooms, cradles and other medical facilities are available here.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has applauded MLA Saroj Ahire who came to attend the winter session along with her toddler. Shinde had honored her for her motherhood and capability. He suggested that the Hirkani Chamber be inaugurated at the hands of Srimati Saroj Ahire and his suggestion was implemented this morning to inaugurate the ‘Hirkani Chamber’.
