Nagpur: Sanjeevani Sakhi Sangh cultural programme, an annual festival of Sanjeevani Sakhi Sangh, which empowers the latent qualities of women and instils self-reliance in them, was organised recently at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Auditorium. Various cultural events including folk dances, mujras, qawwalis, powadas, one act plays etc were presented very powerfully.
The program was inaugurated by international sportsperson and ‘IAWA Mrs. India’ Chhaya Janbandhu. The chief guest was Dr Siddharth Gaikwad, Regional Deputy Commissioner Social Justice Department and Amit Sakhre, Deputy Director Ministry of Defence.
On this occasion, Shailesh Narwade, writer and director and Rituraj Wankhede, a talented actor of Jayanti film, were felicitated by the guests on behalf of Sanjeevani Sakhi Sangh. The introduction of the program was done by the President of the organization, Architect Kalpana Meshram, and moderated by Anita Janbade and Manisha Boudh. Dr. Seema Ambade proposed a vote of thanks.
For the success of the program Vandana Deshbhartar, Sujata Gajbhiye, Suvarna Dongre, Mamta Dambhale, Padma Bhivagde, Pratibha Ramteke, Surekha Lokre, Mrinalini Dahiwade, Pushpa Ramteke, Kalpana Kamble, Chanda Sahare and Anita Patil got the support of Sakhis.
