Nagpur: Troubled by the scorching summer heat, the Second Capital of the State is all set to receive some welcome relief as the Regional Meteorological Department (RMC) of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a “Yellow Alert” for the district on May 18 and May 22.
According to the RMC’s five-day prediction, “Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places.”
In addition to Nagpur, the RMC has also issued a Yellow Alert for Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, and Washim.
