Nagpur: A series of allegations has surfaced between patrons and a Khamla-based tiffin services outlet after ‘insects’ were allegedly found inside the tiffins. While the patrons blame the food outlet, the owner of the tiffin services stated that she provides tiffins to 60-70 people but only one has been served with the alleged ‘insects’; this seems fishy!
Speaking to Nagpur Today, Naresh Chakraborty informed us that they received food infected with ‘insects’ from Taste of Punjab, Khamla.
“We receive around 10 tiffins at our firm in VNIT Park, from Taste of Punjab. For the past couple of days, we have been finding insects in the Daal. When we informed the Director of Taste of Punjab, she switched the Daal to Kadi, but the problem remained the same. When we confronted her, she said that they have no flaws on their end and instead blamed us, suggesting that our office must be the issue,” he said.
When Nagpur Today took the matter to Jyoti, the Director of Taste of Punjab, Khamla, she stated that while she provides food to 60-70 people, even her family and staff consume the same food, and only a few have complained regarding this issue.
“After I received the complaint from their end, I immediately changed their Daal to Kadi. In the meantime, I also argued with my grain vendor and instructed him to change the Daal he’s been providing us. I, along with my mother and staff, inspected our entire outlet but found nothing on our end. However, they again said that they found something in the Kadi. It really amuses me that only they have problems, and no other patrons have any complaints,” she said.
