Nagpur: GAIL (India) Limited held a press conference on 17th July 2023 to announce the progress of the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda pipeline project in Jabalpur.
R.K. Jain, Director (Finance), Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing), Akhilesh Jain, Independent Director and Prof. Ph.D. Independent Director Ravicant Corue addressed the media and stakeholders.
The project has three parts and covers a large geographical area of Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Orissa.
The pipeline is 1,755 km long and construction is progressing rapidly. The Rs 1.13 billion pipeline will pass through three districts of Madhya Pradesh – Chhindwara, Seoni and Jabalpur – and bring many immediate benefits to the city and state.
The opening of city gas distribution is an important contribution of pipelines, delivering clean, affordable natural gas to industries and households, thereby reducing carbon emissions.
