Nagpur: Nagpur: In a significant development, the Nagpur Rural Police have successfully established the identity of the deceased body discovered near Arwi in the Wardha River. The body has been identified as that of Nirala Kumar Jaiprakash Singh (43), a breakthrough achieved through DNA analysis. This confirmation comes after rigorous efforts to match the DNA sample from the recovered body with samples provided by Nirala Kumar’s parents.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Vishal Anand, expressed that the DNA samples from the deceased’s body yielded a conclusive match with those provided by Nirala Kumar’s parents. As a result, the body has been officially handed over to Nirala Kumar’s family members. Remarkably, the DNA sample extracted from the body also exhibited a matching profile with blood stain samples that had been meticulously preserved from a farmhouse located near Kondhali.
Elaborating further, SP Vishal Anand shared that the police force is now engaged in compiling a comprehensive chargesheet to ensure a thorough and airtight case against the perpetrators. The objective is to ensure that the culprits responsible for the unfortunate demise of Nirala Kumar and another victim, Ambarish Devdutt Gole (40), face the full extent of legal consequences.
The incident, which transpired on the fateful night of July 25, involved the fatal shooting of Nirala Kumar and Ambarish Devdutt Gole at a farmhouse. Both victims succumbed to their injuries on the scene of the crime. Nirala Kumar, a resident of Prasad Apartments in HB Town, Pardi, and Ambarish Devdutt Gole, residing in Narkesari Layout at Jaiprakash Nagar, met their untimely end at the hands of assailants whose motives are under investigation.
The police have so far arrested, besides the mastermind Omkar MahendraTalmale (25), a resident of Smruti Layout, Wadi, expelled Bajrang Dal leader Vishal Pawankumar Punj (41), a resident of Plot No 15/04, Mohan Nagar Badkas Chowk, Kotwali; Harsh Anandilal Verma (22), a resident of Plot No 39, Khadgaon Road, Sonba Nagar; Danesh Durgaprasad Shivpeth (21), a resident of Godhni Road, Old Mankapur; Lucky Sanjay Turkel (22), a resident of Mariyam Nagar, Sitabuldi; and Harsh Saudagar Bagde (19), a resident of Plot No. 37, Dattawadi, Wadi.
