Delhi Public School MIHAN organized a special session on ‘Communication Skills and Personality Development’ for the support staff to develop the skills that are essential for a healthy interaction with others. President and Pro Vice Chairperson initiated this unique concept to enhance productivity and build an effective work culture in the school environment.
This initiative was taken up in collaboration with the team led by Ms.KaushalDutta ,CEO India HTI Pvt Ltd. who ensured that the participants are given a training on various situations that they face in the school environment and the positive ways of dealing with such situations. The support staff were given some common situations and asked to enact them .

Through the enactment they tried to emphasize the right behaviour while interacting with others and also handle the situations in an effective manner. Acts depicting role played by the bus conductors,handling medical emergency in the class, road rage,interacting with parents during PTM were showcased during the session.
The enthusiasm seen by the participants was evident in the way they portrayed their roles as well as the confidence they exhibited while presenting their thoughts. A positive body language, a calm demeanor and soft tone while speaking to students, parents and teachers were emphasized in the session. Overall it was an excellent learning session for the support staff as it helped them to build confidence and develop a better personality as well build effective communication skills. The support staff appreciated the efforts taken by the school management for this novel initiative.
