Nagpur’s Pratima Bonde wins silver medal in Khelo India Para Games 2023

Nagpur: Eklavya awardee Pratima Bonde, a MA Second Year student of Nagpur’s Dhanwate National College won silver medal in Khelo India Para Games 2023 recently. The Games were organised from December 10 to 17 at Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.

Pratima bagged the medal by lifting 83 kg weight in 50-age group weightlifting event. She practices under her Guru Vijay Munishwar, a Dronacharya Award winner.

On her achievement, Principal of the College Dr O S Deshmukh congratulated Pratima and wished her success in future. The Head of Department Dr Devendra Wankhede, Dr Vandana Ingle, Dr Subhash Dadhe, Prof Jayant Jichkar, and all teachers and non-teaching staff also congratulated Pratima.
