Nagpur: A musician of a local orchestra in Nagpur committed suicide due to financial crisis.
Praveen Bhimrao Moon (41), a resident of Wathoda, near Bidgaon Gram Panchayat, was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a ‘dupatta’ in his house around 6 pm on Tuesday. Police visited the spot and sent the body to Government Medical College & Hospital for autopsy. Preliminary investigation revealed that Moon, who was attached to a musical group, had no work since the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the financial crisis, he took the extreme step.

After recording the statement of his wife Swati (37), police registered an accidental death case. Further investigations are on.
Man commits suicide in Yashodhara Nagar
A middle-aged man from Yashodhara Nagar Police Station area ended his life by hanging in his house. The reason behind Dinesh Sheshrao Dhoke (45) taking the extreme step could not be known so far. Around 8 pm, Dhoke was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house at Plot No 58, Lane No 03, Yadav Nagar. Family members brought Dhoke down and rushed him to Mayo Hospital where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead.’
Police registered a case under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Further investigations are underway.
