Nagpur: South Indian Bank, a private sector bank, recently organised the exhilarating ‘SIB Ignite – National Quiz,’ a premier intellectual showdown that witnessed the convergence of brilliant minds from across the country.
Among 6000 participating teams, the standout participants were Taha Uddin and Pranjali Meshram from RTM Nagpur University, who emerged victorious in the Zonal Finals, securing their spot in the highly anticipated National Finals to be held in Bengaluru on February 3rd, 2024.

The SIB Ignite Quizathon, a brainchild of South Indian Bank, aimed to provide a platform for college students to showcase their prowess in an array of subjects, spanning current affairs, renowned personalities, sports, business, technology, arts, history, and geography. The completion unfolded in three phases, beginning with an online preliminary qualifying round that attracted teams nationwide.
Taha Uddin and Pranjali Meshram, representing RTM Nagpur University, dazzled the competition by navigating through the preliminary rounds, qualifying among the other teams from Maharashtra & Goa.
The Mumbai Zonal Finals showcased the team’s intellectual prowess, quick thinking, and problem-solving skills. In a battle of wits, the team from RTM Nagpur University emerged triumphant with Taha Uddin and Pranjali Meshram, competing against teams from reputed institutes like BITS and TISS Mumbai.
They shall now represent the states of Maharashtra & Goa in the upcoming National Finals, scheduled for February 3rd in Bengaluru. The National Final will witness RTM Nagpur University being represented by Taha Uddin and Pranjali Meshram compete against seven other zone-winning teams from across the country.
