Nagpur: A Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) attached to Yashodhara Nagar Police Station committed suicide by hanging himself at his quarters, 94, the police said on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Gond.

Prima facie, PSI Gond was going through some personal problems, which perhaps provoked him to take the extreme step.

In the meantime, a squad of Yashodhara Nagar Police, along with senior officers, visited PSI Gond’s quarters.

A case of accidental death was registered. Further investigation is ongoing.
