Unseasonal rain wreaks havoc in Nagpur, uproots trees, disrupts power supply

Nagpur: The Second Capital of the State witnessed a sudden mood swing in weather as the early morning sun was covered by dark clouds around 10 AM, while the Regional Meteorological Department issued a warning of thunderstorms and lightning for Nagpur and neighbouring districts.

Nagpur witnessed heavy rainfall between 10 AM and 1 PM, bringing the entire city to an abrupt halt. Roads were flooded with water, and trees were uprooted. The city’s power supply was also disrupted.
