Nagpur: The Aamesar family from Chhapru Nagar received a shock after coming back from a family outing, discovering that goods worth Rs 22 lakh had been stolen from their house, police said on Friday.
According to police sources, complainant Khemchand Aamesar, a resident of Chhapru Nagar, had gone out with his family. They returned only to find the latch of the main door broken and gold, silver ornaments along with cash collectively worth Rs 22 lakh missing from the almirah.
Subsequently, a complaint has been lodged with Lakadganj Police Station.
