Nagpur: A man was killed and his teenage daughter grievously injured after their two-wheeler was hit by a speeding Aapli Bus operated by Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
The accident occurred in front of Bal Bharti office in Civil Lines within the jurisdiction of the Sitabuldi Police Station.
Shivcharan Bhajelal Dharanwar (58), a resident of Hansapuri, was on his way to drop his daughter Anushukta (19) on a motorcycle (MH49/Q-1947), to her tuition class on Saturday at 8.30 am when the Aapli Bus (MH-31/EN 0423) hit their vehicle. The impact of the collision left both father and daughter critically injured. They were rushed to GMCH where Shivcharan succumbed to his injuries. Anushukta is under treatment.
