Nitin Gadkari Scripts Hat-Trick Victory in Nagpur Lok Sabha Seat

Nagpur: In a decisive victory, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has won the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat, scripting a hat-trick of sorts. With a massive 54.08% vote share, Gadkari has maintained his dominance in the constituency, which is home to over 12 lakh voters.

Gadkari’s victory margin has increased by 1.56% compared to the previous election, with the BJP leader securing 6,55,027 votes. His closest rival, Congress’s Vikas Thakare, managed to garner only 5,17,424 votes.

The election was a one-sided affair, with Gadkari maintaining his lead from the first round of voting on April 19. As many as 26 candidates were in the fray, but the BJP’s grip on the seat remained unchallenged.

The voter turnout was impressive, with 12,07,455 votes cast in the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat. The result is a testament to Gadkari’s popularity and the BJP’s strong hold on the region.

Gadkari’s victory is seen as a major boost for the saffron party ahead of the upcoming state elections in Maharashtra. The win will also give him a significant boost in his national politics, particularly in light of his recent elevation to the Union Cabinet.
