Nagpur: The redevelopment of Ajni railway station in Nagpur is progressing swiftly, with the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) announcing completion four months earlier than scheduled. The upgraded station will boast modern designs, green building concepts, and Divyangjan-friendly amenities, catering to 45,000 passengers daily.
Key features include dedicated arrival and departure plazas, wide concourses, and escalators connecting platforms. The west side will have a G+2 plaza with surface parking and a circulating area for smooth vehicular movement.
