Nagpur: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs of the Government of India has announced that the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will receive the ‘Systematic Progressive Analytical Real Time Ranking’ (SPARK-2023-24) award under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihoods Mission. Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary, along with Additional Commissioner Mrs. Anchal Goyal, congratulated the NMC’s Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihoods Mission team on this achievement.
The award ceremony, titled ‘Excellence Towards Progress,’ will be held on July 18 at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar, will present the award to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation. A three-member team from the NMC will travel to Delhi to receive the award, as informed by Dr. Ranjana Lade, Deputy Commissioner of the Social Development Department.
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation has been recognized as one of the winners of the ‘Systematic Progressive Analytical Real Time Ranking’ (SPARK-2023-24) award for its outstanding performance under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihoods Mission. The Ministry also congratulated the NMC for its invaluable contribution to the successful implementation of the mission.
