Nagpur, India – A brutal stabbing incident occurred in the Godhani railway area of Nagpur on Monday night, leaving one man critically injured. Deep Hari Khare, 40, allegedly attacked Prafull Mahadevrao Dandekar, 33, multiple times with a knife over a dispute about compensation for a stolen motorcycle.
Eyewitnesses reported that the altercation began when Deep confronted Prafull and his friend Ibrahim Jangu Shaikh as they were leaving Ibrahim’s residence. The dispute reportedly arose from Prafull’s failure to reimburse Deep for a motorcycle stolen over a year ago.
Prafull sustained 15 stab wounds to his back and chest during the assault and was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical treatment. Ibrahim informed Prafull’s brother, who then took him to the hospital.
Police have registered a case based on Ibrahim’s complaint and are investigating the incident to apprehend the assailant and determine the full circumstances leading to the violent encounter.
