Nagpur: Seizing the opportunity presented by Maharashtra Government’s Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will be filling up vacancies by inviting applications from unemployed youths.
NMC said it intends to enrol qualified youths for 404 vacant posts, some related to engineering, through the scheme wherein the recruits would be offered on-job training to upgrade their skills as per needs of the market.
A press release by NMC stated, those interested should apply from July 26 till August 4 on rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in. The scheme is being jointly implemented by Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship and Innovative Department and Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Kaksha to provide training to unemployed but educated youth.
As per the scheme, HSC passed would get Rs 6,000 monthly stipend, ITI or Diploma holder would get Rs 8,000 per month and Degree/PG holders would get Rs 10,000 per month. The government will also provide scholarship to the youth and same would be credited directly in their bank accounts.
Eligibility: The applicant should be domicile of Maharashtra between the age of 18 and 35 years. Training would be for six months duration only.
