A delegation led by Dr. Dipen Agrawal, President of the Chamber of Associations of Maharashtra Industry & Trade (CAMIT) consisting of industries from outskirts of Nagpur city particularly in Kapsi, Lihgaon, and Mahalgaon on Bhandara Road which are adversely affected due to water logging during recent rains, met with Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister and Member of Parliament (Nagpur).

Dr Dipen Agrawal upraised Union Minister with the hardship faced by the units due to the heavy rains on July 20, 2024 and the adversity due to consequent water logging. He further informed that the day to day working of these units has been disrupted for days resulting in huge monetary and business losses. This is regular feature every monsoon added Dr Agrawal.

The delegation proposed some solutions to prevent such incidents in the future.

Union Minister, Nitin Gadkari, gave patient hearing to the submission made by delegation and assured to direct concerned authorities including NMRDA to take immediate corrective steps to resolve the issue.

Prominently present in the delegation were Sarvshri Prakash Kataria , Sanjay Kamdar , Chetan (Pintoo) Karaykar , Dilipbhai Thakral etc.
