Nagpur: In a heart-wrenching incident, a two-year-old girl died after falling off the third-floor balcony of her house in the Yashodhara Nagar area of Nagpur on Tuesday morning.
The toddler, identified as Namasvi Prakash Maudekar, was playing in the balcony of her home at Lane No 6, Yogi Arvind Nagar. Around 9.30 am, she attempted to climb the steel grill of the balcony to get a glimpse of her father leaving for work. Unfortunately, Namasvi lost her balance and fell off the balcony.
Namasvi’s family rushed her to Mayo Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival. The Yashodhara Nagar Police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated an investigation into the incident.
