Nagpur: Starting October 1, Air India will introduce a new early morning flight on the Nagpur-Mumbai route, providing much-needed relief for passengers. The new service, flight AI 627, will depart from Mumbai at 5:00 AM and land in Nagpur at 6:35 AM. The return flight, AI 628, will take off from Nagpur at 7:15 AM and arrive in Mumbai by 8:35 AM. This flight will operate daily, offering more options for travelers.
Currently, IndiGo operates two morning flights on this busy route, with one departing Nagpur at 6:10 AM and another at 8:15 AM. However, the increasing number of passengers traveling between Nagpur and Mumbai has made these two flights insufficient. Travel agents have reported a growing demand from passengers for more morning flight options over the past few months.
Air India previously operated a morning flight on this route but discontinued it about 7-8 months ago. The reintroduction of this service is expected to ease the pressure on existing flights and accommodate the increasing passenger load.
