Nagpur: Sensation prevailed at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after a complaint was filed by a first-year paramedical student alleging ragging by senior students.
The incident reportedly took place when the student was called to a senior’s room in the AIIMS hostel.
Taking serious cognizance of the complaint, the AIIMS administration promptly appointed a three-member committee of senior doctors to investigate the matter.
The committee is currently conducting a probe into the case, but the report is yet to be submitted. As a result, all attention remains focused on the findings and any actions that may follow. Meanwhile, no one involved in the case is willing to make any public statements.
