Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) National President and Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s Jan Sanman Yatra today reached Udgir assembly constituency in Latur district. The mass outreach programme received overwhelming response from people of the region. Sanjay Bansode, Sports and Youth Welfare and Ports Development Minister, who is also representing Udgir in the state assembly accompanied the Deputy CM.
Ajit Pawar announced that the Maharashtra government has fulfilled the long-standing demands of Anganwadi Sevikas by increasing honorarium from Rs 10000 to Rs 15000. Reaffirming his commitment to proper representation for the minorities, he said ‘we are actively working to provide equitable political representation to minorities’. Referring to party leaders Dr. Afsar Sheikh and Nazir Kazi, Ajit Pawar said NCP has number of leaders from minority community and “we are committed to working inclusively with everyone, we are all Indians. Udgir reflects the essence of Bharat, and we must maintain social harmony”, added Pawar.

Talking about the development in the region, he said we have inaugurated several facilities, including the Panchayat Samiti, Tehsil Office, and the Administrative Building. Udgir is also recognized as an Agricultural Commodity Trading Center, he added. Lauding the efforts of Minister Sanjay Bansode for the development of the region, Ajit Pawar said, “he has proven himself through the support he has received from the people and through his performance. We are pleased with his work. Please cast your vote for him.” Talking about the cultural heritage of Udgir he said “Udgir has a rich cultural and political heritage, known for its spiritual significance since ancient times.” Ajit Pawar informed the gathering that the government is working for the development of Latur Airport, including night landing facilities.
He appealed to the voters to vote for NCP and Mahayuti in the upcoming assembly elections saying in order to advance Maharashtra’s development, we need people’s support. “I promise that if you stand by us, we will bring about transformative change in your lives”, added Ajit Pawar.
