Poharadevi, located in the Manora taluka, is often referred to as the ‘Kashi of the Banjara Community.’ The site holds significant religious importance, with the tomb of Sant Sewalal Maharaj, the deity for over 10 crore Banjara people across India, and the shrine of Ramraobapu Maharaj. The famous Jagdamba Temple is also located here, drawing millions of devotees annually.

To give visitors a comprehensive glimpse of the Banjara community’s culture, history, and traditions, Guardian Minister Sanjay Rathod conceptualized the grand Nangara Museum as part of the Poharadevi development plan. The five-story museum was built to showcase the rich history and heritage of the Banjara community and was first conceptualized in 2018. Today, it stands as a world-class museum.
