Nagpur, October 22, 2024: Starting today, the Nagpur Traffic Police has implemented a special traffic plan for Itwari Market to manage the festive rush during the Diwali season. The plan, in effect from October 22, 2024, to November 5, 2024, will be enforced daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. This initiative is designed to ease congestion and ensure smooth movement for shoppers and residents.
Key changes include restricted entry for four-wheelers and auto-rickshaws at major intersections like Gandhi Bagh, Tanga Stand, and Nanga Putla, along with designated one-way and two-way traffic routes. The police have requested full cooperation from the public and encouraged the use of public transport during peak hours.
