Nagpur: The Nagpur city has been experiencing dry weather for the past two days, resulting in a noticeable drop in the minimum temperature. On Sunday, January 19, the minimum temperature in Nagpur was recorded at 10.4°C. Meteorologists have predicted that the dry weather will persist for the next five to six days, which will further lower the temperature in the city.
Meanwhile, in Northern India, multiple western disturbances have brought snowfall to Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Dense fog has blanketed Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. The cold winds coming from the north have contributed to the dip in temperatures across Maharashtra.
The clearing skies have caused a significant drop in the minimum temperature from the previous day. Many residents were seen donning sweaters and warm clothing from the evening onwards to combat the chill. Meteorologists predict that the cooler mornings and evenings will continue, marking the return of a typical winter atmosphere in the city.
