Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Nagpur Residential Hotels Association (NRHA) held recently at Hotel Orient Grand, wherein audited accounts of NRHA for the year 2015-16 were passed unanimously.

Prakash Trivedi – President, Tejinder Singh Renu – Secretary, Inderjeet Singh Baweja & Dr. Ganesh Gupta – Vice Presidents, Santosh Gupta – Treasurer, Deepak Pandey & Vinod Joshi – Joint Secretaries of NRHA shared the dais.

Various issues like increment of annual membership of NRHA, issues of pending Fire compliances of hotel buildings, lacunas in Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006, irrational increase in rickshaw tips by few hoteliers and related issues were discussed in length.

Tejinder Singh Renu informed the members that soon NRHA will obtain appointment of Devendra Fadnavis – Chief Minister to inform and suggest amendments in Maharashtra Fire Act and Pravin Datke – Mayor has assured NRHA to arrange this meeting soon. We need separate Fire Policy for buildings constructed and occupied before 2006, so that current controversy of fire safe buildings get settled down legitimately.

The meeting was conducted by Tejinder Singh Renu & vote of thanks was proposed by Deepak Pandey.
