Nagpur: In an audacious act, a 36-year old man barged into the house of a 15-year old girl when she was alone and threatened to kill her. Later, with the force of life threat, the pervert man raped her repeatedly since the past few days till September 5, 2016. The accused rapist has been arrested.

The arrested accused has been identified as Jai alias Shaktiman Ambadas Chavan, resident of New Kamptee. The accused Jai, taking advantage of the neighbouring girl being alone in her house, forcibly entered into her house and threatened to kill her. With these threatening words, the accused raped her repeatedly since the past few days till September 5. However, the victimized girl apparently gathered courage and lodged a delayed complaint against the accused.

Based on the complaint, New Kamptee API Narode booked the accused Jai Chavan under Sections 376(2)(1)(I)(N), 506 of the IPC read with Sub-Sections 4, 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and arrested him.
