Nagpur: A job-seeking youth was conned to the tune of Rs 2.32 lakh by four persons including two women who promised him a lucrative employment in a company.
The victim, Bhushan Nandeshwar, resident of Gaddigodam area, told police that the four accused Pratibha Rajesh Bukkewar (40), Hindustan Colony, Rahul Jadhav, Dinesh Meshram (30) of Kasturba Nagar, Jaripatka and Sadhana Singh, approached him and promised a lucrative job in a company. With this promises, the accused took Rs 2.32 lakh from him during the period between July 2015 and May 2016. However, Bhushan was neither provided with the promised job nor his money returned by the accused. Sensing he was taken for a costly ride, Bhushan lodged a complaint with Sitabuldi police in this regard.
A case against the four accused has been registered and further probe is launched by Sitabuldi cops.
