The security guard and an official of Bank of Maharashtra were coordinating and managing the crowd of citizens who had promptly lined up for withdrawals while a few private banks did dispense notes only of Rs 2000/- denomination. When other banks struggled to obtain notes for dispensing, the Bank of Maharashtra came up with this additional depositing and dispensing machines to alleviate people’s struggles.
