Nagpur: Of course the work of cementing many roads is underway. However, many other roads have been dug-up in an unplanned manner at many other places.
What is irking the citizens is there are some craters on many roads which witness heavy traffic round the clock.
Some of these craters are situated in such a spot that it is sure to make some two-wheeler rider fall down if he or she is commuting the stretch at a decent speed.
One crater situated just under the right-hand side of the Dhantoli railway bridge situated near the Mokshadam is a spot in wait for a major hazardous mishap.
The spot does not have adequate lighting and person travelling on the spot can fall down if the two-wheeler has a smaller wheel base. The two-wheeler rider could also come under big four-wheelers why ply during the evening hours.
Another such a spot is near the Loha Pul situated near the Cotton Market Square. The road has become so bad that a smooth hole is visible and is experienced by many two-wheeler and four-wheeler drivers.
Another such a crater exists near Rani Jhansi Square. This is the spot where Star Buses are parked in the night while is vacant for all vehicles during day time.
A crater at a spot hit opposite to the Petrol Pump in Rani Jhansi Square (towards Bank of Maharashtra Square) too is another spot in wait for a major hazardous mishap.
Can’t the civic authorities wake up and fill these craters with their Jet-patchers so that at least some mishaps can be avoided?
