Handbag snatching incident in Imamwada

Nagpur: The desperadoes seem to be having a field day. The goons riding a motorbike snatched a hand bag of a lady on December 28, 2016.

According to police sources, the victim is identified as Puja Niranjan Mendhe aged 27 years and a resident of Untkhana was walking from Ashok Chowk to Medical Chowk when two unidentified motorcycle borne goons snatched the handbag and fled. The incident is said to have occurred right in front of the main gate of Home for Aged and Handicapped. According to the complainant, the bag contained rupees twenty four thousand in cash and a cell phone worth Rs. 10,000 in it in all goods worth Rs 34,000/- was stolen.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim Puja Mende, the cops of Imamwada Police Station have registered a case against unidentified bag snatchers and are investigating further.
