Nagpur: Students and teachers of NMC’s Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar High School and Junior Science College, Untkhana, witnessed thrilling demonstrations of disaster management by a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Pune.
The programme was presided over by Director of the school Sunanda Padole while Education Officer Farooq Ahmed Khan, Sub-Inspector R S Ransingh of 5 Batallion NDRF Team, graced the event as chief guests.
The demonstrations performed by NDRF team include river crossing, rope climbing, leathering, log ceiling, tiger rope and climbing. The thrilling demonstrations left the students inspired.
The introductory speech was delivered by Principal Rajani Deshkar while vote of thanks was proposed by Kailash Chandve.
