Nagpur: It is said that nothing is as pure as child’s mind. They are unbiased and full of creativity. Horizon of their thought process is beyond imagination of grownups. We want young minds of Nagpur to open up and share their innovative thoughts. Come this 27th February, 2017 Nagpur is all set to witness the biggest and the largest ever letter writing inter-school competition – “Letter to PM”. More than 1,00,000 students from over 150 schools of Nagpur shall be participating in writing an open letter to Prime Minister of India. The event themed as “Bacchon Ke Mann Ki Baat, Pradhan Mantri Ke Saath” shall look forward to bring out innovative thoughts for promising future.
The Prime Minister in his recent Mann Ki Baat spoke to the students, taking cue from it and to provide a platform for students to write back to the Prime Minister, JCI Orange City is organising this inter school letter writing competition informed President Jc CA Ajay Vaswani.
The participants shall be divided into 5 categories from 5th to 9th Standard. Each participant shall be asked to write a letter to the Prime Minister as per the guidelines set by the panel of judges. Participating schools shall conduct the letter writing competition in their premises under the observation of JCI Orange City volunteers. Each school shall do initial screening and select one best letter for each 200 participants under each category. Selected letters shall be then screened by a panel of judges to select winning letters in each category. Further, a few selected letters shall be sent to the Prime Minister’s Office.
