A fund raising event cannot be funnier than this. Well it brought the pangs of laughter and hands on jokes for a cause – to build school buildings for the under-privileged children. Nagpur Round Table 83 organized a stand-up comedy show at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth on June 21 with the ‘Delhi ka Launda’ Abhishek Upamanyu and ‘Horney Sindhi’ Atul Khatri. Around 600 to 700 people attended the hilarious show.

The stand-up comic artists Atul Khatri and Abhishek Upmanyu regaled the audience with anecdotes from incidents and happenings of our day-to-day life which the audience could identify themselves with. It was the style, the popular lingo and the expressions which made the show funny. Laughter they say is the best medicine. For the two hours that the audience forgot all their tensions, worries and problems and simply laughed, guffawed and enjoyed.
“ My name Abhishek and I really feel bad yeh kaisa naam rakh diya ghar walo ne yaar.. koi neeche se chilla raha honga Abhishek….. toh wo he sun k rakh diya Abhishek. Chiiii” said Upmanyu.
“Yar ek baar Dad peeche pad gaye Shadi Karlo Shadi Karlo…. main bhi tang aa gaya tha, maine bhi keh diya yaar papa chhod ab toh Dalali wale kaam…. fir kya ghar se Hakaal diya.. Do din bad mummy ka call aaya aur kehne lage, Yeh koi Tameez hai apne baap se baat karne ki.. wo kaam pichle saal hee chhod diya hai unhone..” Added Upmanyu.
Where as Atul said “ Meri wife ko bilkul pasand nai yeh mera non veg jokes and all she always realize me that 49 ki age me log Microsoft ke CEO ban jate aur tum same age baccho ke liye Microsoft ka legal software nahi kharid sakte”
Jatin Kumar, BBA student said “ We guys really enjoyed the show a lot and it was full of entertainment and based on our daily life that really kill stress from us.”
Saniya Rayani Said “ Abhisekh and Atul really nailed it. It was really unstoppable laughing for us because they are really showering such funniest punches we ever listened.” “We really Thanks to Nagpur Round Table 83 for organizing great show for great cause and we hope same for the future.” She added.
