Rs 2,860.18 sales tax yet to be recovered from traders, says Mungantiwar

Nagpur: State Finance Minister informing in Maharashtra Assembly on Thursday said that the traders owe State Government Rs 2,860.18 crore.

Some traders are missing and the dues with GST Department (Sales Tax) stood at 2,860.18, the minister said in a written reply.

He futher said that some traders have changed their locations but they have identified traders with dues of more than Rs 5 lakh and efforts to trace them has been initiated with the help of banks, police and the company registrar.
