Central Reserve Police Force, Nagpur shared the bright moments of pride and honour at its 46th Raising Day which was celebrated with grandeur and fervour. On this occasion a colorful and spirited mela was organized in the sprawling campus of GC. The Mela was inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Kumar, DIGP, GC,CRPF, Nagpur in the presence of Arti Singh, CWA president, Manoj Dhyani, commandant, GC Nagpur, M.D khobragade, commandant 238 Bnm Seema Tolia, commandant 213(M) Bn and officers and Jawans of the force. A CRPF gallery was erected depicting vibrant and history glorious from crown representative force to the present day role which are multidimensional in nature.
The weapon display was the major attraction for young generation which consisted of modern rifles. Area weapon and NVD equipment such as X-95, 81mn, Mortar etc.
The various game kiosks were also erected in the Mela which undoubtedly to gave a break to the Jawans from their strenuous duties. Various sports were organized to make the event engrossing and winners were given prizes on Jan 1st. The food court displayed the best of delicacies from North India to Maharashtra enjoyed by all troops and their families.
On evening they also organized get together party where they enjoyed dinner together and got well relaxing time with some cultural program.
