SNDL to charge new power unit at Pench- III WTP on Feb 8

Nagpur: Power distributor company SNDL has planned to connect & charge the newly installed cubicle unit for Pench-III Water treatment plant (WTP) at Gorewada on 8th Feb,2018 . This is required to enhance the Electrical Load of Pench-III WTP from 1376 KVA to 1800KVA.

NMC-OCW has proposed 8-Hrs shutdown on 8th Feb,2018 Thursday, to complete the work due to which water supply at Ghandhibagh Zone from 1000Hrs to 1800Hrs will remain adversely affected during the shutdown period.

The citizens of the following areas in Ghandhibagh zone are requested to make sufficient storage as water supply through Tankers shall not be made during shutdown period.

(a) Sitabuldi Fort-1 Command Area: Gandhibagh, Daga Hospital, Namakganj, Itwari Post Office, Tpre Galli, Pothi Galli, Bapurao Galli, Sudam Galli, Hamalpura, Itwari High School, Patharfod Darwaja, Mukundraj Lane, Gaulipura, Naka Galli, Sharda Sq, Pataleshwar road, Dakshina Murti Sq. area, Chitnis Park Area, Tilak Putla, Ram Mandir Galli, Attar Wali Galli, Kothi Road, Behind Narsingh Talkies, Shingada market, Rahatekar Wadi, Kashibai Temple, Juni Mangalwari

(b) Sitabuldi Fort-II Command Area: Cottan Market Area, Subhash Road, Ganeshpeth, Gadikhana, Ramajichi Wadi, Karnal bagh, Ghat Road, Shaniwari, S T Stand

(c) Kila Mahal ESR Command area: Sai Mndir Area, Hamalpura, Kumbharpura, Ayachit Mandir Area, Mahal Sangh Building Area, Kelibag Road, Pethkar Galli, Killa Mahal, Naik road, Upadhyay Road, Tulsibagh Road, Alli Miya Khamb, Rani Bhonsla Vihar, Suwarnkar Mandir, Ratan Collony, Soniya Gandhi Slum, Chitnvispura, Shivaji Nagar, Bhuteshwar Nagar, Nandaji Nagar, Natraj Theater area, Nawabpura, Paturkar Ram Mandir Area, Kunbipura, Telipura Nawabpura

NMC-OCW has appealed citizens to store sufficient water for their use. Further tanker supply will also not be possible during shutdown.

NMC-OCW appealed citizens to co-operate. The inconvenience caused to the citizens due leakages repairing work is highly regretted.
