Enthusiastic gatherings mark Holi across Nagpur,In tune with tradition, people from different walks of life have begun celebrating Holi, the festival of colour.

Till filling of this news no untoward incident was reported yet, Youth can be seen on different areas of the city  too enthusiastically taking part in the celebrations. Sections of people switched to organic colours which are safer.

This year there has been a lot of emphasis on celebrating a waterless Holi. In Maharashtra in particular, stars and citizens appealed to masses to conserve water owing to the severe drought the state is facing. Actor Amitabh Bachchan has appealed on twitter for a ‘dry holi’. Bachchan tweeted, “Water shortage in Maharashtra…And it’s only March. What will happen in Summer? Save Water! Play a dry Holi!!”
