Nagpur: In an awful incident, a teenage girl was molested by a 50-yearl old man when she tried to save her mother and brother who were being attacked with iron rod by a youth. No arrest has been made in the incident that took place in Tehsil area on Sunday night.
According to police, the complainant woman’s son and a youth named Vishal Bhangre of the same area were quarrelling over an issue around 10.30 pm on Sunday. The woman tried to intervene in the brawl between her son and Vishal. But instead of heeding, the accused Vishal brought an iron rod from his house and attacked the mother-son duo. Vishal hit the rod on woman’s head and face of her son injuring both of them severely. Seeing her mother and brother in trouble, the 18-year old girl rushed towards them and tried to save them from further assault. However, the 50-year old accused named Raju Hedau pulled the girl and outraged her modesty by indulging in vulgar acts.
Tehsil API R R Patil, based on a complaint, has booked the two accused Vishal Bhangre and Raju Hedau under Sections 324, 354, 34 of the IPC. No arrest has been made in the case.
