Nagpur: A 14-year old girl was raped repeatedly by a 25-year old neighbouring youth on the pretext of marriage. The accused exploited the kid girl sexually for two years. The accused rapist has been booked but not arrested as yet.
A resident of Hudkeshwar area, the accused Akshay Khobragade (25), lured the 14-year old neighbouring girl with marriage promise. The accused, despite knowing the girl being minor, doled out promise to marry her and exploited her sexually over a period of two years from 2016 to April, 2018.

Hudkeshwar ASI Giri, based on a complaint lodged by the victimised girl, booked the accused Akshay Khobragade under Section 376(2)(N)(I) read with sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Further probe is underway.
