PSI shot at near Yerawada Jail; escapes unhurt

Pune : In a shocking incident, two unidentified persons on a motorcycle opened fire at PSI Mohan Patil outside the Yerawada Jail in Pune on Friday morning. Patil luckily escaped the attack as the bullets didn’t hit him. The accused however managed to flee from the spot after the incident.

According to sources, two persons came riding a Honda Activa scooter at the main gate of Yerawada Jail. At around 8 am, PSI Mohan Patil was leaving the jail after his night duty. The two persons suddenly opened fire at Patil and immediately fled from the spot.
