Cash, goods worth Rs 6.36 lakh stolen from godown in Kalamna

Nagpur: Anonymous miscreants sneaked into a godown located near Chikhli layout and decamped with cash and goods comprising soap, powder, tea etc to the tune of Rs 6,36,518 between October 10 and 11 under the jurisdiction of Kalamna police.

Complainant Rohit Chandrakumar Virani (25) resident of Plot. No. 202, H wing, Pyramid City owns D. H. R. Enterprises godown in Chikli layout. He told police that the place was closed between 8 pm of Oct 10 and 6.30 am of Oct 11.

In the meantime, an unidentified culprit broke in the godown by smashing the latch of entry door and absconded with cash Rs 1.10 lakh with raw materials.

Followed by the complaint, Kalamna registered a case under section 461, 380. Further probe is on.
