Nagpur News: Annual Training Camp of Nagpur Group NCC conducted by 4 Maharashtra Battalion organised at Hyderabad House from 22 May 2013 to 31 May 2013. 350 Cadets of Senior and Junior Division NCC from various schools / colleges of Nagpur, Gondia, Bhandara & Chandrapur Districts participated in the camp. Apart from Basic Military Training, various activities vis-a-vis Rallies, Sports, Social events etc. conducted during the camp.
On 24 May 2013, a lecture cum demonstration to deal with situations of disaster or unexpected fire occurrences were conducted by a team of National Civil Defence College (NCDC), Nagpur to educate the NCC Cadets. The NCC Cadets were also briefed on how to tackle the situation in case of Rail / Road accidents, Fire incidents etc.
An anti Terrorism rally to bring awareness amongst the general public was conducted by the NCC on 26 May 2013. In addition, various service subjects of Army were covered during the camp for awareness of the participants. The Camp gave an opportunity to the young NCC aspirants to develop and inculcate the spirit of unity, discipline and comradeship.
