Elderly man booked for duping relative to the tune of Rs 1.50 lakh

Gittikhadan police booked a 69-year-old man for duping his own relative to the tune of Rs 1.50 lakh on the pretext of investing in Share Market.

Police said, the accused Deendayal Naidu (69), a resident of Sadikabad Colony, lured the complainant of immense profit in Share market. The complainant Manu Suryabhan Bele (45), a resident of Siddharth Nagar, Teka Naka fell prey to Deendayal’s tactics and gave him Rs 1.50 lakh to invest in Share Market on March 10, 2011.

Anxious to know about the profit he earned through share market, Manu asked Deendayal to give him details about the investment. Manu lodged a complaint with Gittikhadan Police Station when even after a year Deendayal ignore him and didn’t give him the investment details.

Police registered a case of cheating against Deendayal under the Section 420 of the IPC. Further investigations are on.
