Nagpur News : Notorious gangster Raja Gaus, who was produced in district court on Tuesday, was granted police custody remand till June 5. JMFC M S Sahastrabuddhe has announced the PCR on being insisted by city police.
Police put forth an appeal that though they have seized few weapons from Gaus and have arrested few of his gang members, they want him into custody to seize more weapons from him. Police also claimed that Gaus will be interrogated to reveal whereabouts of his gang members. Gaus is suspected to be involved in many cases.

Police said that Gaus is wanted in around 13 offences in the city police stations. He has also fired on Nandanwan police team and had shot dead a youth for opposing eve-teasing of his girlfriend. Gaus will be questioned thoroughly by city police to know his involvement in other crimes.
